The new legend that shoots from afar. So far she’s been really fun to play with a super cute ally to help with positioning! But will her skins blend in from the rest or stand out from a distance?

A safe first skin for Vantage. Lots of ideas that relate her to a bird in the feathers, claw boots and knee pads that work for her sniper loadout. The chest plate and number allude to something unknown which is intriguing.
Scout Leader 2/5
This is a really cute skin for the youthful legend. It’s giving girl scout with the camo colour palette, camping gear and pack digits across the knee pads. The badges are an adorable touch with every badge representing a unique skill. It’s just a super cute skin and a nice freebie for Prime members.
Falcon Patrol 3/5
This skin is absolutely fine. It’s clean, the orange pops against the white and each part matches nicely. The lilac underneath nicely separates the layers. The angular folds and cuts of the jackets are almost sporty while there’s a warrior look in the tied back hair and markings on the face. Overall not mind-blowing but a good solid look.
Nocturnal Tactics 3/5
Again, expected and serviceable. It’s that token survival look that every character has by now with gold elements, animal battle trophies and a giant skull somewhere, this time as a helmet which is pretty striking in all fairness. The purple against this is unusual and interesting but underutilised. It’s shiny without being gaudy and cements her amongst the other legends.
Ice Cold 4/5
This is a cool skin. Literally. She’s geared up for a cold climate with some cute touches that push through her own style. It armour is heavy, especially in these huge boots, in a similar silhouette to Zarya from Overwatch. She actually had a similar Winter skin to this though this isn’t a carbon copy by any means. The aquatic yet icy shade of blue really suits her and pops against the snowy white armour. The goggles and helmet with those tiny bear ears resemble a polar bear, portraying her youtful style while the watermarks are sporty and modern which stops the skin from looking too cartoony. Overall, it’s different for Apex, it’s interesting and it’s a great entrance for the new legend.
In summary, a fairly mid-tier set of skins for Vantage in her debut season. Some pretty mixed epics, expected base game skins with the modern and survival-themed skins and an out-of-the-box launch bundle skin that froze out all the others. Hopefully she shifts up the meta a little and gets cosmetics that reflect her pick rate. You won’t need a scope to spot her fashion!
