The skins continue to come thick and fast this Summer. Tuesday saw the release of some stylish skins to the store. Let’s have a look!

Bangalore Cybernetic Soldier 4/5

Not bad at all. This resembles her heirloom skin but better, honestly. The dark base is perfect for stealth while it’s stylish enough to wow in close combat. The braided hair to one side is really effective and suits her style. The amber lines all over the skins with the Iron Man-esque core in her chest push forward that futuristic and cybernetic idea. And just a pair of shades to look cool. Overall a really decent skin, great for any that don’t want to fork out the heirloom shards for her mythic.

Loba Lunar Wolf 5/5

So obviously I’m a little biased. My favourite in the game with another game skin. But use your eyes and see what I see! Loba is usually in bright colours, in outfits that pack a punch to the players’ eyes. This lavendar colour is more demure. She’s the colour of moonlight on the water with crescents all over so you don’t forget. Respawn have been experiemnting with her hairstyles and this platinum do really works behind the mask. THe overall effect is one of sophistication and eeriness. Don’t cross her at midnight. Or do at the expense of your wallet!

Revenant Night Phoenix 5/5

Of course because Loba got a skin for this event, Revenant needed one too. Across from her in a luxurious masquerade ball, Revenant stands planning his next move in their never ending feud. This is reverent for Revenant; just a simple suit with some gorgeous gold appliques. The shoulders flare out into flames and the golden mask isn’t hidden behind the hood but shines out like a well-guarded treasure. It’s hauntingly stylish and worth the money.

Vantage Cybernetic Survivalist 3/5

Unfortunately this falls far short behind the other show stopping store skins this Summer. I feel like Respawn haven’t quite found their comfort zone with Vantage and are trying a couple of different looks to establish her sense of style. This isn’t a bad direction to venture in. The red is robotic and evokes a sense of danger, especially with the almost inhuman head. Her boots are a stylish heavy duty and will help her with any landing. It just feels like a distant departure from the hunter that was introduced in Season 14. It’s not really her. Even Echo may be confused! Not a skin I would whistle at.

Respawn have been on a roll this season with fancy skins to empty your Summer savings. Lots of skins to consider from your favourite legends to characters that may be barren in the cosmetics department. Give them a look! Let me know your favourites!
