Skinsational Apex Legends Resurrection Battle Pass

The New Revenant ushers in some new skins. It’s a cybernetic themed season once again so there’s some pretty high standards for the skins to match up against. Unlike Revenant, they’re not super spooky but are they super stylish?

Pathfinder 4/5

This one certainly is. Cybernetics decked out in cyan, Pathfinder looks less friendly and more deadly. His circuitry is smooth and polished. There’s minimal metal to make him appear even sleeker, hopefully thinning his hitbox. The orange glows match nicely and the pop art style emojis on his chest stand out amongst everything else. Really strong from the ziplining zero.

Mad Maggie 3/5

In this cyborg styled skin, we see yet another side of Maggie. From the titanium boots to the electric current coloured hair, she’s soulless and ready to stomp the competition. Her goggles are similar to that of a mechanic, furthering her survivalist backstory. It could be compared to some of Fuse’s skins since he’s had a couple of robo-themed outfits. This furthers their lore and reminds us of their relationships both past and present. It feels like Respawn have really fallen into groove with her designs now. She’s had styles from the past, present and future, none of which seem to be beyond her personality.

Octane 2/5

It’s minimal but the skins completely dyed back with these red accents on the eyes and arms look both deadly and robotic. Nice for an epic.

Valkyrie 1/5

Pretty simple and sadly underwhelming considering the skins Valkyrie already has. I’m never a huge fan of bold blues and reds together and this is no exception.

Caustic 0/5

I can’t really see much change to this skin. It’s mainly just beige.

For the price of a battle pass, there’s some decent skins here, not to mention the reactive of a gun from the game’s release. Do you have the bolts to play it?
